Toothbrushes break down into manual and electric categories.

If you are still using a manual toothbrush then its an easy swap to use a bamboo one.

The majority of them still have plastic bristles (less than a gram per brush). There are options for pig hair bristles but they are from China and have other ethical concerns.

Assuming you already have an electric toothbrush then you need to buy replacement heads for it. I use an Oral B Professional brush.

LiveCoCo do activated charcoal heads for Oral B brushes. They run a recycling program for these, save them up and send back in bulk.

Alternatively I expect the Terracycle programs will accept these.

There is a battery powered toothbrush in development but its experiencing delays.
